General Information

Race and Class
Blood Elf Warrior
Main Spec

Battle Tag

Tell us something about your class that you don't think most people know.

Battle Shout, when it still existed and before the Burning Crusade nerf, used to generate threat for every player receiving the buff. It was useful for tanking adds on some encounters.

Tell us about yourself - age, timezone, schedule, fetishes, etc.

24, EST, 6-12h30PM EST during week day, 12PM to 2-3 AM. Software engineer working the world of finances. I'll refrain from going into details about fetishes, wouldn't want to give a bad first impression. What I can is that I enjoy craft beer, growing out my hair (currently at the status of "Hagrid") and listening to music.

Raid Information

Outline your previous raid experience. Please be as detailed as possible, including any links if applicable.

Due to current application format, I used pastebin to give more details : . If needed, I can provide more detailed information with dates of killl / ranking, but everything from WotLK and up can be found on wowprogress

Provide a link to your recent Warcraft Logs parses. (unfortunately, not recent and almost irrelevant when it comes to mythic at this point)

Provide a screenshot of your UI in a raid environment.
Detail your off-spec capabilities (ie: gear level, experience).

I haven't played arms since I learned dual wield at level 20 12 years ago (so it's safe to ignore for now). Last meaningful tanking goes back to off-tanking in Blackwing Lair, but for some times I've been taking mythic dungeons. Tanking gear currently sits ilvl 910 (AP lvl 42, more points to come now that main spec is 54).

How do you prepare for raids? Be specific.

Make sure I have every possible consumable that I could need for more than just a raid (flask, food, potions, tomes). Make sure everything is repaired in case it's a raid where is not possible and there's nobody with a repair bot. If it's a new encounter, make sure I have all the knowledge needed for this one and the one coming after (if the first one is killed).

What do you feel that you, personally, bring to a guild and raid environment?

Extensive knowledge about the game through the years, diversity when it comes to my personality. Someone willing to listen and able handle constructive criticism.

Tell us your best joke.

"C'est assez ou je me cache à l'eau". ( To my defense, it didn't say the joke had to be in english)

What made you apply to Negatory?

From the information I've seen, Negatory as been going for a while and it's something I've been missing for a while since I came back to the game, finding a group of people that sticks together. Also, from the description of the guild, being in a guild where people are not only logging on for raid is a big plus for me.

Were you referred by an existing Negatory member? If yes, who?

No, I found the guild while browsing wowprogress.

Negatory is a mature guild, and as such you will be subject to foul language, off-color humor and "adult" discussions - understood?

Yes, it has never been an issue and it's not tomorrow that I'll be offended.

Is there any additional information we should take into account when reviewing your application?

While it should be an issue when it comes to raiding, I do have to state the fact English is not my native language. While I'd say I'm pretty fluent and I have no issue understanding, not everybody is used to hearing a french accent. Also, I barely touched the subject when it to parses, I stopped raiding when my previous guild died and I took some time off to deal with my personal life at the time. Haven't been in mythic in a while and gear has changed since then, but I can assure I'm not rusty at all after all this time. What I may lack in concrete experience, I make up in knowledge for the moment.

Thank you for your interest in Negatory. At this time we do not feel it would be a good fit. Best of luck.
